What is USDS?
USDS (also known as Sky Dollar) is a decentralized stablecoin that is the successor to DAI and aims to maintain a soft peg to the US dollar through over-collateralization and a Peg Stability Module. Issued by the Sky Protocol (formerly MakerDAO), USDS is backed by a reserve of surplus collateral and offers enhanced functionality such as earning interest through the Sky Savings Rate and receiving governance rewards.
