Linea staking is a system that allows users to stake assets, like ETH, to help secure the network while also generating yield from other DeFi applications. Unlike traditional staking, Linea's model enables staked assets to remain liquid through Liquid Staking Derivatives (LSDs), which are tokenized versions of the staked position that can be used across the ecosystem. This allows for a dual purpose strategy where the staked assets can be used for both network security and as collateral or liquidity in other protocols.
